MEET SUSAN

Susan Bunch is the Founder of Keneca Coastal. Having an extensive background in both travel and education, Susan created Keneca Coastal in response to her passion for exploration and being a lifelong learner. Susan has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics and worked for years in the airline industry. After having two sons, Susan entered the field of education, obtained a Master of Arts degree in School Administration and was a school principal for years. Throughout her career Susan won numerous awards and accolades including Principal of the Year. She is passionately committed to children and education. After moving to southwest Florida from NC, (you will know it’s her by the southern accent), Susan immediately fell in love with “paradise.” She loved taking day trips to places like Palm Beach, Wellington, Sarasota, Cabbage Key and Miami and was amazed at all there is to see and do in sunny south Florida. One day Susan took several of her snowbird girlfriends from London/Canada/Sweden on a day trip to Miami and this was the day the idea of Keneca Coastal was born!

Susan has enjoyed serving on boards from church preschool to education foundations and volunteering at area hospitals and hospice. She is driven by the love of her family and her yellow ray of sunshine Labrador Retriever, Sunni girl. Susan is over the moon excited to share her passion, enthusiasm and experiences of magical South Florida with you!  She hopes her passion of travel and lifelong learning will be an inspiration to others.  As Susan says, “we do the homework so you don’t have to!” Leave all the headaches, decisions about where to go, parking, traffic and directions up to us. Your only job is to be our guest, relax and have fun!
